TheWebsiteForTheShow has been renewed for another 3 years until 2010 and there have been some minor changes to the site recently.
There is no more URL forwarding for the website. What does that mean? Now you can find other pages of the site by typing the page name in after the Domain name. For instance to find Joey’s Page you can type http://thewebsitefortheshow.com/joey in your browser to go to his page. Before you had to navigate to the page through the website because the site’s URL was forwarded and masked so no matter what page you went to on the site it always said thewebsitefortheshow in the address bar.
The same great features are still available and the production crew for “The Show” has been hard at work trying to release the new season by early ’07. A new season of Podcasts are expected to be released around the same time and the manufacturing department is working on some new products that will be available through the Online Store for The Show. The first 10 one-hour long special edition DVD’s are currently available at the store as season packages with free shipping!
This website hasn't’t been updated in a while because we’re in the process of updating our production system and we’re waiting for the Intel-mac version of Flash and Photoshop to be released before we make our purchase(s)/updates. This will probably be the last update to (version 1) of this site and we estimate the new website (version 2) to be released Summer ‘07
One of the first things you might notice different on TheWebsiteForTheShow (besides the new layout of the pages) is the features window. Here you can check out new features available through TheWebsiteForTheShow including a Guestmap, AIM Chat, Paypal donation, and Vote feature.
-Place a pin on the Guestmap and see fans of “The Show” from all over the world.
-Text, Voice, or Video Chat with up to eight people on voice or 4 people on video w/ your AIM or .mac account by clicking on the chat icon button. The icon will change from “online to “offline” depending on my online chat status.
-Send a secure donation through your Paypal account or make a donation on your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discovery card by clicking on the Paypal Donation button.
-Vote on different listed topics or even cast your vote to have a character ELIMINATED and see the results of what other people voted for when you click on the Vote button.
These are just some of the features I have available right now and I’m working on getting the STORE all put together and now that I have the Paypal all set-up the next step is getting the merchandise available so if anyone actually BUYS something I’ll have it ready to ship out. Another thing I'm working on is a Password-Protected page that will have special features for subscribers where you can watch even more videos and listen to Podcasts from the cast and crew of "The Show". All-in-all, TheWebsiteForTheShow just keeps getting better and better.
